Beginner's Ballet (Ages 2 - 4 years)
Engineering (Ages 4-6, 5-8 or 9-12 years)
Engineering for kids is a class designed for the youngest of engineers! Subject areas will vary between robotics, electrical, chemical, etc. every six weeks. For this class, a retired engineer and a early childhood teacher have worked together to develop several fun, engaging projects for the kids and will explore the fundamentals of engineering. Children will design, create, test, and refine their creations and each successive project will build upon the concepts learned in prior ones. This class will be run by Mr. Al and Miss Laura.
Anything is possible when you create art with no rules and no mistakes! We’ll explore the meditative and calming world of patterns and shapes with the Zentangle® Method. Zentangle is easy-to-learn, and the practice is fun and helps find focus for fidgety fingers. We’ll use simple tools to create a new project each week and make a tangle journal. Kids will learn to see the world in an exciting new way through patterns. For all artistic levels from beginner to Matisse!
